We are happy to announce that the Advance Diversity Services is now delivering the Partners in Recovery Program in partnership and collaboration with lead organisation, South Eastern Sydney Medicare Local, agencies Neami National, Benevolent Society and Aftercare, and consortium members.
The South Eastern Sydney Partners in Recovery Program is a new program for people who are experiencing severe and persistent mental illness in the St George & Sutherland Shire local government areas.
Partners in recovery assists people who:
- Are experiencing severe and ongoing mental illness
- Have complex support needs
- Find it difficult to access the services and support they want
- Want support that will prioritise their personal autonomy and choice
- Want to explore improving their wellbeing
- Aged 25 years or over
Once you are referred to the Program, Partners in Recovery staff, called Support Facilitators, can work alongside you as you plan your personal recovery. They will connect you with the services and supports you require and coordinate those services.
The ADS has 4 Bilingual Support Facilitators: Sofie Zogalis (Greek), Valentina Kimovska (Macedonian) Luyi Huang (Chinese) and Luma Al-Bayati (Arabic). Penny Antonopoulos is Manager of the Program at ADS.
Anyone can make a referral to Partners in Recovery. You can call for Medicare Plan G directly.
